    언론에서는 일본 오사카의 엑스포가 크게 인기 없는 것으로 보도되고 있다. 이 행사를 위해 엄청난 비용을 투자했다. 그럼에도 불구하고 투자한 만큼의 효과가 나타나지 않는 다고 한다. 하지만 현장에는 사람이 없다 할 수 없다. 아마도 휴일에는 엄청난 사람들이 몰릴 것이다 평일임에도 불구하고 만만치 않은 사람들이 곳곳의 파빌리온에 길게 줄을 서고 있다.

    엑스포장을 들어설때 마주하는 거대한 그랜드 링은 흡사 로마의 콜롯세움에 들어온듯한.....독특한 아이디어, 거대한 구조물이다. 각국의 파빌리온은 이 거대한 링 속에 있다.

하루만에 각국의 파빌리온을 다 관람한다는 것은 절대 불가능하다. 평일에도 인기있는 나라는 1시간을 서서 기다려야 한다. 간간히 쉬면서 점심먹고 시원한 음료한잔 먹으면 금방 오후가 온다. 적어도 이틀은 돌아다녀야 최소한을 볼 수 있다고 생각하다. 이런 점에서 지금 말고 시간이 좀 흐른 다음 가는 것이 좋을 듯....
